Wind Walker At the Head Of Lyell Canyon, Yosemite National Park
I was introduced to this addiction when I was in my teens by a girlfriend and her family. Even though my first trip was more or less a disaster(long story) I was hooked! I have been traveling into the backcountry to seek the "Wilderness Experience" for over 25 years now and still get so excited the night before a trip...I can't sleep.

At 44 I am a little slower on the trail these days but I still get there eventually.
I've been married to Leslie my best friend for 20 Years, we have three children Joshua 17, Kasia 15 and Nathan 13.
